Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
So far, this book is about a major pick-me named Cathy Earnshaw and her boytoy Heathcliff and his unprocessed trauma from years of abuse, guilt, anger, grudges, etc. This traumatized rando disappears, randomly gets rich, and exacts his vengeance towards literally everyone & every-ting. Moody, broody, and honestly not as juicy as I thought it would be. Looking forward to this other book I bought (Tokyo Ueno Station) because this story is dragging on. To be honest, I wouldn’t have picked this classic up had it not been for the new adaptation with Margot Robbie (goddess divine incarnate herself/Barbie) and the tall Australian guy from Euphoria named Jacob Elordi coming out this week! I may or may not watch it, depending on how congested I continue to be 🙂
